Winning and Losing

However, there are others, like the one who made this quotation, who believe that gambling is fun, whether you win or you lose, it does not matter to them. For them, you should look at the bright side of winning and losing in gambling.

Winning a gambling game is very pleasurable because you get to take home lots of money. Many forms of gambling can make you a millionaire in an instant, like lotteries. This is why many people enjoy playing high-stakes gambling. There are also people who depend on their gambling winnings to pay for their basic necessities like food, housing and health care. However, money is just one reason why people are so hooked to gambling.

Another reason why gamblers would like to win is the bragging rights. This usually happens in games among friends, and in which the winner can tease his or her opponents for having beaten them. If you win against many other players, you have the right to brag that you are the smartest of them all, that you are the best player.
